The following is a presentation of this step-by-step procedure UTILISING 'DTF' (DIRECT TO FIXTURE) TITANIUM CYLINDERS AND DENTAL LASER WELDER By combining our custom manufactured DTF cylinders and abutments (manufactured in commercially pure titanium) and the technology provided by dentaurums COM 4 laser welder, at CDI we now produce highly accurate, passive fitting, screw retained frameworks which eliminate the need for abutments by attaching directly to the fixture, thus eliminating waxing, casting, and the use of precious metals. Depending on case requirements these frameworks can be made for many applications, ranging from simple two fixture over denture bar to a full arch frame work, suitable for either application for acrylic/composite or special titanium porcelain for titanium.
