THE POLYGON SERIES
New Product
Polygon is a new series of slim design 12 sided (double hexed) ready to use angulated abutments.
The polygon series of abutments is specifically designed to be used when implants are non-parallel or divergent and when angle corrections are necessary. All abutments are suitable for single and multiple unit restorations, and ideal for both cement on or crosspin techniques.
The polygon is available in 15 degree, 20 degree, and 30 degree angles.
LAB USE
By using the polygon abutment in the laboratory there is no need to cast abutments any more. Simply select the correct position (can be rotated to suit many different positions), adjust the length and start waxing the implant crown/bridge, etc
SURGERY USE
In the surgery, if the 'cement on' technique is to be used, the polygon abutments are ideal as they require very little adjustment (length only) prior to impression taking.

Best way to adjust/reshape Ti abutments is by using:
- carborundum separating disks
- rubber wheels to smooth surface
- high polish with cotton buffs using any Ti polishing compounds
