RANGE OF ABUTMENTS

CDI standard design and universal design abutments are suitable for all your applications, including single or multiple units and cement-on or cross pin techniques.

All abutments feature a 2° taper as standard. The taper can be adjusted up to 5°, depending on fixture placement and individual design requirements.

You can choose from two collar types:

     > chamfer collar - standard design
     > shoulder collar - universal design.

Collars of varying height and angles are available to suit your specific needs.

CDI MULTI-PURPOSE ANGULATED ABUTMENTS

CDI angulated abutments are available in varying degrees of angulation, with a standard 5° taper, and can be used for both cement-on and cross pinning techniques. They can solve any conceivable angulation problems.

These multi-purpose angulated abutments are fabricated according to the design set in play by the Position Replicator®, providing you with abutments that require minimal modifications before you build the implant.

* Please note: we can also custom-make 12 position angulated abutments for all external hex systems.

CDI CASTABLE ABUTMENTS

CDI castable machined abutments allow you to cast single multi-unit abutments, in any type of alloy, for each individual case.

CDI DIRECT TO FIXTURE ABUTMENTS

CDI’s direct to fixture (DTF) abutments are non-engaging. They are ideal to use in large cases with multiple or divergent fixtures, as the path of insertion is not as critical as it is with engaging abutments.

DTFs are used in conjunction with laser welding and Ti casting technology to produce strong, lightweight (yet robust) frameworks for:

     >processing acrylic resin
     >manufacture of milled sub-frames
     >overdenture bars and frameworks(< 2 fixtures)
     >porcelain application where suitable(utilising titanium-specific porcelains).

DTF non-engaging abutment
DTFs are specifically designed for laser welding, as they have a wall thickness that is suitable for the laser welding technique. DTFs can be made to any height or fixture size you require.

CDI INTERIM ABUTMENTS

CDI interim abutments are specifically designed for the manufacture of single-unit temporary crowns, for either the surgery or the laboratory. They are engaging abutments with a ridged body, allowing for retention of the light-curing composites or self-curing resins.

CDI cross pins are an ideal solution for all single or multi-unit abutments that require horizontal screw retained restorations. Available in three sizes, they allow you to recreate an ideal contour.
